Land Guide

Land Guide

how it works

To create a universal map of Wild Equines, we have created a guide to the Lands within Wild Equines. This guide is most useful when it comes to claiming or challenging for a land, and it will help you understand to what extent you can manipulate the land to your own use/desire.

Each land is numbered, starting from the top of the category. Each alliance category (Light, Neutral, Dark) has 5 mainlands and each canon category has 3 mainlands (a fixed number, will not be changed). So for example, starting from the top of the Light category, the first board, also the Royal lands, is Light Land 1. The last board is Light Land 5.

Each land description is copyrighted to it's creator, and may not be used by anyone else unless the creator has approved it. This means that if someone claims the current land, they must either ask permission of the previous land owner to use their description, or create their own. How this works with the land guide is that every land has been assigned a "base environment", such as an island, a forest, a lake. Each land description must maintain this base environment, however the owners of the land may describe it and adapt to it in any way that they wish. For example, Neutral Land 5's base environment is a forest. The first owner described it as an boreal forest, one with many pine trees. Upon land ownership being passed to another owner, they changed it to more of a jungle forest to fit their design. As long as it keeps with the base environment.

Below you will find a guide of each mainland, and what base environment it has. Please address this guide when claiming or challenging for a land and creating a land description.

#2

Light Lands

Light Land 1 (Royal Land): A beach that sits on the edge of a forest.

Light Land 2: Shores that are separated from the rest of Wild Equines by large rocky mountains.

Light Land 3: Everglades with many rivers running through the land, small forested areas.

Light Land 4: Heavily forested land with remnants of human occupation.

Light Land 5: Wooded hills transitioning into low mountains.

#3

Neutral Lands

Neutral Land 1 (Royal Land): Steep slopes that are home to the largest trees in Wild Equines.

Neutral Land 2: A massive lake that lays within the shadows of high cliff walls.

Neutral Land 3: Neighbouring Neutral Land 2, the cliff walls transition into a large ravine with a valley set within.

Neutral Land 4: Deep, dark and dense forest with a wide river.

Neutral Land 5: A great lake that has some forest around it, snow capped mountains in the distance.

#4

Dark Lands

Dark Land 1 (Royal Land): Great forest encircles a large clearing.

Dark Land 2: Graveyards set within sweetgrass.

Dark Land 3: Dark mountains tower over a hard to reach valley, a place which is almost always dark.

Dark Land 4: Spacious land of fields and valleys with much greenery.

Dark Land 5: A desolate island set off the coast of the other Dark lands.

#5

Versai Lands

Versai 1 (Leaders): Forest so thick individuals often become lost within.

Versai 2: Tundra runs for miles until it reaches vast canyon.

Versai 3: A paradise of meadows set upon mountain slopes.

#6

Helkaer Lands

Helkaer 1: A sea of vibrant grass, inlaid with deadly plants.

Helkaer 2: Dead land with scarce resources, as if all the life has been chased away.

Helkaer 3: Fields with long grasses, almost forever enveloped in fog.
